(Picture above) Gary had two goals to accomplish this year on the salt. First goal was to go 150 MPH on his motorcycle. Which unfortunately he did not achieve. I hope you get next year. First run he got 147, second run he achieved 147, and third run he achieved 144. The second goal was to achieve a memorial run for a gentlemen that passed away of massive heart attack. Jons family sent a piece of shirt to us in a ziplock bag and picture of Jon so that Gary could tuck it in his leathers. Jon was a motorcycle enthusiastl. He raced motorcycles on the drag strips and many other places. His dream was to race across the salt and achieve a land speed record. But before this dream was accomplished he passed away. Thank you Gary for making dreams come true. We wish Jons family well.

(Picture above) The Malone family bought this camaro in the last year. The car is already in the 130 and 150 mph club with the gentlemens name that they bought it from. Both Brent and Doug wanted to get into the 130 mph club. They both made runs over 130 mph. Congratulations to both Doug and Brent for making it into the 130 Club. They are hoping to make it into the 150 mph club next year. Way to go you guys!!!
Jesse Winders of Winders Racing works on his Diesel Truck. His original engine let go. He put another engine in with Clay, Brad and Bryces help. However, the Salt Gods didn't allow him to race with the second engine. He couldn't get the engine up and running. We hope the Salt Gods will smile on him next year.
On a better note for the Winders Racing Team. Winders Streamliner and driver Kevin Winders achieved the record of 123.605 for the H/DS class this year. Congratulations to Winders Racing Team.
